We began the adoption process last year and early on we were contacted about a sibling group that was in need of a permanent home.  We needed our home study completed quickly in order to be considered for this great group of kids.  We contacted Angela and within just a few days she was at our house helping us navigate our adoption journey. 

Even after our home study was completed, Angela continued to stay in contact with us.  Angela provided more information about how adoptions work than anyone ever had.  She has been a blessing to our family and we cannot say enough how much we appreciate her support!

I would just like to let you know that working with you and A&FSC has been nothing but a great and positive experience. From the day Rich & I met you at the Christian Adoption informational fair we felt an immediate connection. Our experience with the Home Study process went so smooth; you and your staff were there to help guide us through the paper work, letters and application process that we were so scared would be a nightmare.  Although our nerves and patience are at wits end praying and waiting to get that one phone call with news of a birth mom match, you and Pam have always been a positive reinforcement and keep our Faith alive.

Our Adoption Story 

We don’t believe in coincidences, our marriage, our business and everything.

We had accomplished, after ten years, was based on choices, hard work, and determination. When it came to starting a family, we thought the same would apply.

After several years of draining ourselves physically, financially and emotionally with infertility treatments, we started looking at other options. We started the adoption process and felt anxious about our decision.

There were so many variables involved. We believe meeting Angela and Pam was no coincidence either, it was a blessing. They are honest, caring, informative and efficient.   From our Home Study, to helping us with our profile for birth mothers to review, they were there every step of the way.

Angela is as efficient as she is enthusiastic and Pam’s patience to listen and comfort is unwavering.  Angela and Pam were involved with the adoptions of both our children who are now 2 & 6 years of age.

We are blessed to have such a wonderful family and are eternally grateful that Angela and Pam were there to help it become a reality.

Angela and Pam were there, really there, for all the steps of the journey and it is sometime a bumpy journey!  Every legality, every question (and I am sure that I drove them crazy with questions) was explained and answered - with patience.  All in all, my daughter and I were treated with compassion, understanding, space to think things through and patience, lots and lots of patience!  No judgment, simply care and concern.

As a result, two little grandsons have a great family and are thriving!  The second most difficult thing to do with this type of a decision is to pick up the telephone and make a call.  I thank God everyday that Angela and Pam were on the other end of that call.  The most difficult thing is letting go.  The understanding and support throughout this journey did not end with placement.  Angela and Pam have continued to be there.

In addition to the family being the perfect match for the children, I have been allowed to remain in their lives, as well.  A true blessing.

There will never be enough words or the right words to express my gratitude.
